BOYES TO RESIGN WITH PANTHERS
Barring an unexpected turn of events, Brad Boyes won’t be traded before the March 5th trade deadline.
The Panthers have informed interested teams that Boyes is off the trade block.

The reasons being that the Panthers and Boyes are closing on a multi-year deal that will pay Boyes at least $2.75 million per season.
Boyes who leads the Panthers with 17 goals and has just a $1 million cap hit, was a player of interest for the Penguins.
The Penguins focus is on Ryan Kesler at this moment.
