Pittsburgh Penguins billionaire co-owner Ron Burkle has shown an interest in owning a Major League Baseball club, expressing interest with Mario Lemieux in the Pittsburgh Pirates some 15 months ago.
Burkle is now a player for one of baseballs most storied franchises.
