— The Devils will be shorthanded tonight missing top forward Mike Cammalleri (jaw), Martin Havlat (lower body) and Jordin Tootoo (foot).
— The goaltender matchup tonight is Corey Schneider (4-2-0, 2.78 GAA, .912 SV%) vs Marc Andre Fleury (4-2-0, ). Schneider is 0-2 with a 3.03 GAA and .864 save percentage in two career starts vs the Penguins. Fleury is 17-22-4, .249 GAA, .916 save percntage in 43 career games vs Devils.
Jaromir Jagr returns to Pittsburgh and is still going strong. Jagr, 42, has 2 goals and 6 points through the Devils first eight games. In 47 career games vs Pittsburgh, Jagr has 23 goals and 44 points. Jagr is averaging 0.78 points per game since returning to the NHL in 2011-2012.
