The Pittsburgh Penguins are likely to recall forward Nick Johnson before Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Johnson was re-assigned to Wilkes Barre/Scranton on Friday so he could play Friday night for Wilkes Barre but with Max Talbot very limited once again today, Johnson is expected to be back with the big club.
Johnson scored a goal in his first NHL game Thursday night, playing on a line with Evgeni Malkin and Ruslan Fedotenko.
Wilkes Barre is in Rochester tonight for a road game.
