A source tells me winger Chris Conner will be scratched tonight and Tyler Kennedy will return to the lineup.
Kennedy has missed the past three games with a lower body injury and will skate on a line with Craig Adams and Matt Cooke. As I mentioned yesterday, the unit skated together in practice on Monday.
Pittsburgh will not recall a defenseman from Wilkes Barre/Scranton unless there is an injury. The Penguins are currently carrying 6 defenseman.
Sergei Gonchar participated in the Penguins morning skate but is still two weeks away from returning.
Gonchar is on target to return before Thanksgiving.
