The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Janne Pesonen to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League (AHL)
Pesonen, 26, appeared in three games during his latest stint with Pittsburgh. He has played in six games for the Penguins, this year, making his NHL debut in St. Louis on November 1. He played 20 games for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, leading the team in assists (16) and ranking third with 21 points (five goals, 16 assists) at the time of his recall. In the preseason with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pesonen scored two points in three appearances.
