After an off-day on Friday, the Pittsburgh Penguins returned to the ice this morning as the team prepares for back-to-back games against division rivals the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers.
Goaltender John Curry has been re-assigned to Wilkes Barre/Scranton. Curry appeared in one game during his recall, giving up 5 goals on 14 shots in a 6-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks on January 16.
Goaltender Marc Andre Fleury (fractured finger) was a full participant today has been cleared to return to the lineup. Fleury looked sharp and will start one of the Penguins back-to-back games, likely tomorrow afternoon against Philadelphia. Fleury has missed three straight games, with the Penguins posting a 1-2 record.
Although Fleury has not been able to participate in a full practice until today, he has been working on the side with goaltending coach Gilles Meloche daily, to stay in game shape.

*Pascal Dupuis (facial injury) practiced today and will return to the lineup tomorrow afternoon against Philadelphia. Dupuis was back on the top line with Sidney Crosby and Bill Guerin.
Maxime Talbot practiced briefly but still doesn’t look close to 100%. He appears to be questionable at best for tomorrow’s game and I don’t expect him to play.
*The Penguins will travel to Philadelphia this afternoon. The team will have their Fathers trip as the players fathers will join the team for the trip to Philadelphia and New York.
