The Pittsburgh Penguins re-assigned winger Luca Caputi this morning. The move was expected as the winger has been a healthy scratch for the past three games.
The team also re-assigned defenseman Ben Lovejoy.
Caputi saw action in four games in his first stint with Pittsburgh this season and recorded two points with one goal and one assist, and added nine hits.
In 12 games with Pittsburgh this year, Lovejoy has collected three assists, 14 hits, 14 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating.
Lovejoy played very well in his latest stint with Pittsburgh as the Penguins are believed to be exploring a way to find a roster spot for Lovejoy.
