The Pittsburgh Penguins re-assigned forward Tim Wallace today, paving the way for Chris Kunitz to return to the lineup this afternoon against the Washington Capitals.
Kunitz is expected to play with Sidney Crosby and Bill Guerin on the top line
Indications are head coach Dan Bylsma will go back with goaltender Marc Andre Fleury today.
There was some doubt that today's game would be played at the normal starting time (12:00 p.m.) but the game will start on time, the NHL announced this morning.
Pittsburgh arrived in Washington, DC, just before 3:00 a.m.
