The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Eric Tangradi from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
Tangradi, 23, has appeared in 12 NHL games this season with Pittsburgh, going scoreless with 12 penalty minutes. In parts of three seasons with the Penguins, Tangradi has amassed career totals of 28 games played, one goal, two assists and three points.
The 6-foot-4, 221-pound Tangradi has played the majority of the season with WBS, where he currently ranks third on the team with 15 goals and fifth with 31 points in 37 games.
