Penguins recall forward Luca Caputi

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled top prospect winger Luca Caputi. Management held an extensive meeting with members of the organization yesterday regarding the direction of the team as a call-up for Caputi after the new year has been in the works.

Caputi will make his season debut tonight against the Atlanta Thrashers.

The 6-foot-2, 184-pound forward is currently the leading goal scorer for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton with 13 goals, and ranks third on the club in points (26) through 36 contests. He also has a team-high 121 shots on goal.

i hope they get ride of feds in some way. i mean the guy can barely accept a pass. it has to be so frustrating for whoever plays with him

Yeah i was thinking there is a limit to how many you can have. Maybe Gonchar on IR? nah, that would have been announced earlier if that was the case i hope
