The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Mark Letestu from Wilkes Barre/Scranton. Letestu has appeared in four straight games and will replace Max Talbot in the lineup who remains sidelined with a groin injury.
Overall this season, Letestu has appeared in seven games, making his NHL debut in the Penguins’ 6-5 overtime win against the Boston Bruins on November 14th and recorded his first career NHL goal and point in Pittsburgh 5-4 win over the Buffalo Sabres on February 1st.
Pittsburgh will have an optional skate this morning and it is not at this point where Letestu will fit in the lineup. Indications out of Tuesday’s practice is that Jordan Staal will center the third line.
