Morning Buzz: Penguins recall Taffe and Wallace

Talked to a source in the Penguins organization who questioned why the Penguins even have Janne Pesonen in the organization. One team has even offered to take Pesonen off of the Penguins hands
There has been discussions about giving Chris Minard a shot on the top two lines.
It is looking unlikely that Mike Zigomanis will play against the Devils. He’s been out longer than people thought he would be. Full update on tomorrow’s lineup following Wednesday’s morning skate.
Phillipe Boucher is slowly recovering from concussion symptoms and could be back within the next week. He has been practicing but did not fly with the Penguins to New Jersey.
It is all about conditioning for Marc Andre Fleury who will be back next week.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forwards Jeff Taffe and Tim Wallace from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League (AHL)
Taffe, 27 began the season with the Pittsburgh Penguins appearing in one game, posting two penalty minutes. He ranks second on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins with 29 points (14 goals, 15 assists) and a plus-8 rating in 24 games this season.
Wallace has seven points (four goals, three assists) along with 31 penalty minutes in 21 contests with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Here’s a few notes on Wallace from what I saw from him in training camp
