The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed defenseman Ben Lovejoy to a one year deal. Lovejoy, 25, recorded seven goals and 24 assists for 31 points in 76 games for the Penguins AHL affiliate Wilkes Barre/Scranton in 2008-2009.
The Penguins also signed Tim Wallace to a two year (2-way) contract.

Wallace, 24, appeared in 16 games for the Penguins in 2008-09, contributing two assists – his first career NHL points. He also played 58 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, compiling 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points.
The National Hockey League will announce the 2009/2010 schedule today.
