The networks get their dream matchup as the #2 Washington Capitals and #4 Pittsburgh Penguins will meet in the second round of the playoffs.
The Capitals defeated the New York Rangers 2-1 Tuesday night on a late goal from Sergei Fedorov to advance to the second round.

It appeared Pittsburgh was set to meet the #1 Boston Bruins in the second round of the playoffs but the #6 Carolina Hurricanes scored twice in the final 80 seconds of the third period to stun the #3 New Jersey Devils 4-3 Tuesday night.
Pittsburgh was 1-3 against the Capitals in the regular season.
Game 1 is Saturday at the Verizon Center (1:00 p.m. on NBC)
Boston – Carolina and Detroit – Anaheim will open up on Friday.
Vancouver – Chicago will open up on Thursday.
