The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded center Mark Letestu to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Penguins will receive a 4th round pick, the teams announced
Letestu, 26, signed a two year extension last January through the 2012-2013 season but struggled to be a fit in the Penguins scheme as a 3rd or 4th line center.
As a rookie Letestu scored 14 goals in 64 games last season.
The organization began last week gauging the trade market for Letestu as the team had been preparing to make a routine move at some point this month due to healthy bodies coming back at the forward position.
The Penguins now own 8 draft choices in the 2012 draft.
