The Penn State Nittany Lions had a big day on the recruiting trail, landing prized 6-foot-3, 305-pound defensive lineman Tommy Schutt (Glen Ellyn, Illinois.) and four-star wide receiver Eugene Lewis (6-2, 188-pounds) of Plymouth PA.
Reaching a commitment with Tommy Schutt eased some of the pain for Nittany Lion fans after losing top recruit Jarron Jones who previously committed to the school but recently backed out.
Lewis is a dynamic athlete who rushed for 1,134 yards and 18 touchdowns as a quarterback in his junior season.
Penn State now has 15 commitments.
