2009 NFL Draft Rankings: WIDE RECEIVERS

1. Michael Crabtree- Texas Tech, Eligible Soph- Crabtree has all of the skills necessary to be a top 5 pick. The only thing holding him back is that he plays at Texas Tech. Some are going to attribute his accomplishments to the offense he plays in but let me assure you that this guy is the real deal.

2. Darrius Heyward-Bey- Maryland, Jr- I am a huge believer in Darrius. He is a phenomenal athlete and he has solid size. If he played with a better quarterback I have no doubts that he would be tied with Crabtree right now. Even playing for Maryland I still think he should be an early to mid 1st rounder

3. Jeremy Maclin- Missouri, Eligible Soph- Maclin has had a great season and I would be surprised if he didn‚Äôt leave for the draft this season. He has great speed and is very good at making plays at high speeds. He should go in the first round

4. Percy Harvin- Florida, Jr- Harvin started out slow has recently jumped up to number four on my board.

5. Kenny Britt- Rutgers, Jr- Britt started out this season playing very inconsistent football. Since the game against Pitt, Britt has been on fire. That should cause him to be a first day pick.

6. Juaquin Iglesias- Oklahoma, Sr- Iglesias is the top ranked senior receiver on my board, but this year is dominated by underclassman. Iglesias looks to be an early second day pick.

7. Derek Williams- Penn State, Sr- Very versatile player. Williams has great speed and agility to sell himself with. He looks to be a mid-round selection at this point.

8. Jarrett Dillard- Rice, Sr- Dillard is a major wild card. Playing for Rice he hasn‚Äôt seen too much facing him every week, but he could be a late first day steal.

9. Mohamed Massaquoi- Georgia, Sr- Massaquoi has really come on late in the season. Very solid player. Looks to be a mid to late round selection at this point.

10. Austin Collie- BYU, Jr- Collie has had a great second half of the season. I don‚Äôt see him coming out this year, but if he does he should be selected on the second day.

Any shot for Kinder or Turner to get drafted? Or did getting hurt last year and the offense being able to put the load on McCoy's shoulders kill Kinder's hopes?

One thing to keep in mind is that it only takes one team to really like a player for him to be drafted. I don''t think Kinder or Turner will get drafted at this point; however, I definitely think they are worthy of being un-drafted free agent signings.
