Pens centermen dominant in d-zone draws Tuesday night vs Caps

Sidney Crosby   The Pittsburgh Penguins won 68% of faceoffs vs the Washington Capitals Tuesday night and it was a particularly strong night for the team in winning defensive zone draws. Sidney Crosby was 7-10 (70%), Evgeni Malkin 3-3 (100%), Marcel Goc 5-7 (71%), Brandon Sutter 1-2 (50%) as the Penguins won 16 of 22 defensive zone draws. Marcel Goc rebounded after a poor game Monday night in the faceoff circle, winning 8 of 10 faceoffs in Tuesday’s win. Crosby took a team-high 23 draws, winning 15.
