Insider Only Pens – Leafs Game Day Buzz: Johnson gets the start for Pens

Pittsburgh Penguins (29-17-4, 62 pts) @ Toronto Maple Leafs (25-19-6. 56 pts)
Goaltender Brent Johnson (2-5-2, 3.47 GAA, .876 sv%) will get the start tonight vs the Toronto Maple Leafs in back-to-back situations as the Penguins look to extend their winning streak to nine games. Johnson last played on Janaury 10th vs the Ottawa Senators when he was pulled for the second straight game.
Johnson in his last two games has given up 8 goals on 27 shots. Since December 4th, Johnson has only appeared in two games.
Johnson is 4-4-0 with a 3.48 GAA and .855 SV % in nine career games vs Leafs. Marc Andre Fleury will hopefully get the night off and Johnson can make it through an entire game. He has made 23 straight appearances.

Defenseman Deryk Engelland is believed to be banged up after going hard into the boards last night and Ben Lovejoy will return to the lineup, head coach Dan Bylsma revealed today during his media session with reporters.
Cal O’Reilly will not play tonight.
Former Penguin Colby Armstrong makes his return to the lineup after missing the Leafs last 18 games due to a concussion.
