Penguins @ Rangers
Defenseman Kris Letang returns to the lineup for the first time since November 26, 2011. Letang missed the past 21 games due to a concussion.
Letang will work with Brooks Orpik as the Penguins No. 1 pairing and run the left point on the first power play unit.
Ben Lovejoy will be coming out of the lineup.
Meanwhile, Arron Asham is out indefinitely due to a concussion. He last played on Sunday vs the Tampa Bay Lightning and there was no evidence of Asham taking a head shot. The team believed earlier in the week that Asham was dealing with an illness but it has been revealed that Asham has a concussion.
It is the second concussion Asham has suffered in the past year. Last season on February 1, 2011, Asham was concussed in a game against the New York Rangers. He went on to miss nearly seven weeks of action, not returning until March 21, 2011.
