The Pittsburgh Penguins have officially released their preseason schedule. Assuming the season starts on time and a new CBA is worked out, the Penguins will open the preseason in Columbus on September 24th. The team will play six preseason games with an even split of three home games (Columbus, Detroit, Chicago) and three road games (Columbus, Detroit, Chicago). The Penguins September 29th game against Columbus at the Consol Energy Center will be the Penguins’ third annual Free Game for Kids. According to the team, details will be provided at a later date.
The full regular season schedule is expected to be released next week.
