The San Jose Sharks have acquired Tampa Bay Lightning center Dominic Moore, in exchange for a second round pick. The Lightning will also send a 7th round pick to the Sharks, TSN reports.
This will be the 9th NHL team for the versatile role player and this marks the third time in four years, that Moore has been traded for a 2nd round pick prior to the deadline.

On March 4, 2009 Moore was traded to the Buffalo Sabres for a second round pick and on February 11, 2010 Moore was traded to the Montreal Canadiens for a 2nd round pick.
Moore was a target of the Penguins who have been interested in a depth forward. Sources say Pittsburgh never showed interest in offering more than a 3rd round pick for the 31 year old.
