Petersen scored four goals in win
Nick Petersen scored four goals including three power play goals to lift the Wheeling Nailers to a 7-3 win at US Bank Arena Saturday Night.
In the second period Cincinnati would get their only lead of the game when TJ Fast beat Killeen on the power play at 7:03. The Cyclones would control the lead the entire period until Nick Petersen got going and evened the score on a nice slapshot that beat the Cyclones goalie with just 25 seconds remaining in the period
In the third period the Nailers would show their dominance scoring five goals including three by Nick Petersen, one by Sebastien Bisaillon and a penalty shot goal by Alex Smigelski.With the win the Nailers continue to lead the North Division with 12 points.
The Wheeling Nailers will return to WesBanco Arena next Saturday night November 6th when they host the defending Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones. The first 1,000 kids through the gates will receive a free mini snowbird bobble head courtesy of WTOV 9. It is also Boy Scout night #1.
