Chapman regarded as the top international pitcher on the free agent market has reportedly received a 3 year offer from the Boston Red Sox worth $15.5 million.
Chapman, 21, threw mostly in the 92-93 mph range and topping out at 96 mph, according to Arangure Jr.
Pittsburgh Pirates international scouting director Rene Gayo was the Pirates lone representative and Gayo will meet with Chapman this evening.
