Tomorrow the Pittsburgh Pirates are expected to make the following roster moves; recall infielder Pedro Ciriaco, catcher Jason Jaramillo and pitchers Brad Lincoln and Justin Thomas from Triple-A Indianapolis.
The club is also expected to select the contracts of outfielders Alex Presley and Brandon Moss and pitchers Brian Bass and Steven Jackson from AAA.
To make room for Presley, Moss, Bass and Jackson on the 40-man roster, pitcher Ross Ohlendorf and first baseman Jeff Clement will be transferred to the 60-day disabled list. The club will also designate for assignment infielder Aki Iwamura and catcher Erik Kratz.
