Pittsburgh 24 - Rutgers 17
The Pittsburgh Panthers ended four years of frustration and disappointment against Rutgers Friday night beating the Scarlet Knights 24-17 for their first win against Rutgers since 2004.
Pittsburgh was led by freshman running back Dion Lewis who ran for 180 yards and two touchdowns. Lewis put on a spectacular performance that included touchdowns runs of 1 and 58 yards as the Panthers improved to 6-1 on the season 3-0 in the Big East.
Tight end Dorin Dickerson continues to improve his stock for the NFL and led the Panthers with 6 receptions for 41 yards and one touchdown.
Pittsburgh Quarterback Bill Stull was efficient going 16/14 for 152 yards and one touchdown.
