Pitt falls to No. 17 in coaches poll; WVU moves into top 10

The Kentucky Wildcats are college basketball's new No. 1 team in the USA Today coaches poll that was released today.

No.2 Kansas (18-1), No.3 Villanova (18-1), No. 4 Syracuse (18-1), and No. 5 Michigan State (17-3) round out the top 5.

Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Panthers (15-4) have fallen six spots to No. 17 in the coaches poll, while West Virginia (15-3) has moved up 3 spots to No. 9.

I will take #17. That's pretty good for a "rebuilding" year.

Pitt's not done yet. They will come up with a few more big wins, as well as a few more disappointing losses.

Should be a good game Pitt vs. WVU this year.....Although my beloved Mounties will be getting quite a gift that day as their Big man Kilici will be availabe for the first time this year...should be a dandy!!! GO EERS!!!
