The Pitt Panthers Men’s Basketball team went to the state of Texas to land their 3rd recruit of the 2009 class. Head coach Jamie Dixon announced today Pitt has received a verbal commit from forward J.J. Richardson (Fort Bend Hightower). The 6-7 forward is viewed as a energy player that scores the majority of his points in the paint and is a very good rebounder. A Pitt Insider told me today that J.J. Richardson is viewed as a Renaldo Balkman type of player.
