Pitt's Class of 2010 continues to get better as one of the top guards in the country gave them a verbal commitment. Matt Rotheram, who's a 4-star prospect according to Rivals.com, made the pledge to Pitt. Rotheram is from North Olmstead, Ohio.
The 6-6, 310 lineman is ranked by Rivals as the No. 9 guard prospect in the country. Rotheram is rated the 3rd best lineman in the talent rich state of Ohio.
Aside from Pitt, Rotheram also had scholarship offers from LSU, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Boston College, Illinois, NC State and Cincinnati.
Rotherman is the 12th verbal commitment for Pitt. Other highly rated prospects include DE T.J. Clemmings, S Jeff Knox, Jr, RB T.J. Peeler and WR Andrew Carswell.
