Pitt head coach Todd Graham has landed his most high profile recruit for the Class of 2011.
Quarterback Chad Voytik of Cleveland (Tenn.) High School gave Panthers coaches his verbal commitment, Voytik's father Dr. Gary Voytik said this morning, via the Tribune-Review.
Voytik, 6-foot-1, 183 pounds, has thrown for 3,650 yards and 33 touchdowns, with only 11 interceptions, over the past two seasons. According to the Trib, He recently returned from the Elite 11 quarterback camp in Malibu, Calif., where he worked out with the top high school quarterbacks in the nation.
Rivals.com ranks Voytik as the No. 6 pro-style quarterback and 153rd player overall. He will be playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January.
