The Pittsburgh Panthers are off to their best start (8-1) in 27 years and have earned their highest AP ranking in 20 years as the Panthers moved up six spots to No. 8 in the AP poll that was released this afternoon.
Penn State fell to No. 19 after a disappointing home loss to Ohio State. Florida remains No.1 in the AP poll.
