The Syracuse Orange had the Pitt Panthers on the verge of a loss that could have had major implications to the Panthers coaching staff. Down 24 ‚Äì 16 in the third quarter Pitt fought back and scored 18 unanswered points to beat the Orange 34-24 in Syracuse. LeSean McCoy and LaRod Stephens-Howling led the Panthers comeback combining for 218 rushing yards. Stephens ‚Äì Howling‚Äôs 3 yard touchdown run with 3:22 left in the fourth quarter was the difference maker. More to come in Sunday‚Äôs edition.
