PITTSBURGH 23 – BALTIMORE 20

Shaun Suisham kicked a game winning 42 yard field goal at the end of regulation and the Pittsburgh Steelers upended the Baltimore Ravens, 23-20 on Sunday evening at M & T Stadium.
The Steelers who trailed 13-3 in the first half and 20-13 in the fourth quarter, rallied behind quarterback Charlie Batch, earning a critical win and improving to 7-5 on the season. Pittsburgh got improved play from Batch who went 25 of 36 for 276 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Batch had his shaky moments but delivered in clutch situations, throwing a seven yard TD pass to Heath Miller with 7:37 remaining in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 20-20. Pittsburgh would force the Ravens to punt on the ensuing drive after just four plays and the Ravens would never see the ball again.
Taking over with 6:14 left in the game, Pittsburgh put together an impressive (conservative) 12 play, 51 yard drive, setting up Suisham’s game winning field goal as the Steelers used up all 6:14 left on the clock. On the drive Batch was 5 of 5 for 45 yards and Batch showed a ton of fight in the game and it was an emotional win for the 37 year old who was hugged by teammates and the coaching staff as soon as Suisham’s kick was good.
