- Lastings Milledge (.282 - 3HR - 29RBI) will bat third in the lineup. Milledge was 5-for-12 at the plate in the Pirates three game series against the Houston Astros.
- With McCutchen out of the lineup, Neil Walker (.284 - 3HR - 16RBI) will bat 2nd in the lineup tonight after batting in the No. 3 spot for seven straight games. Walker is hitting .500 (5-for-10, 3 RBI's) in his last two games.
- Pirates starter Jeff Karstens (2-4)Â will take the mound against Brewers lefty Chris Capuano (0-1).
