Contract talks between Penguins GM Ray Shero and agent Allan Walsh are under-way in regards to a new contract for winger Mike Rupp. Preliminary discussions "officially began" today between the two sides.
There has and continues to be a strong consensus on the Penguins and Rupp reaching a deal before July 1. One source expressed optimism that it could happen rather quickly.
