El as insurance to Ben? I thought that's what WARD was???? Seriously though, if they felt the need to get an "insurance" QB they would either pick an actuall QB (go figure) up in FA or draft one high.

Did someone actually suggest that we would trade Ben? Thats like saying the Colts are going to trade Manning, or the Pats have decided to give up on Brady

You dont trade someone that you have no chance of getting equal value for, and has 2 super bowl rings at the age of 28

Bottom line with Ben is if they do not file any charges against him he is for sure the Steelers QB for years to come. If charges are filed then I guess they will have a big decision to make. In the end I am about 99% sure he is the QB now and far in the future. Funny how everyone wants to compare him to Brady or Manning, well on the field he is certainly in that category, off the field he has alot of growing up to do before those comparisons are valid
