The New York Rangers have a deal in place for Sharks winger Ryane Clowe, a league source confirms. Clowe is in the procress of waiving his no trade clause to the Rangers and the deal will be completed this evening.
TSN’s Bob McKenzie reports the expected price will be a second round pick, third round pick and a conditional second round pick if he resigns.
Clowe who was extremely coveted, has as many goals as Tanner Glass has this season; ZERO.

That said, he does bring some good qualities to the table and had 17 goals last season. He addresses one need for the Rangers, size and toughness on the wings.
Clowe’s career best season was 2010-2011 when he had 24 goals and 62 points.
