The NFL has announced that Commissioner Roger Goodell has advised the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ben Roethlisbeger that Roethlisberger is cleared to return to team activities next week.
According to a league spokesman, the commissioner’s decision to allow Roethlisberger to participate in team activities is based on reports and recommendations of medical experts working with Ben.
At this time, no decision has been made on any modification to length of his suspension. Roethlisberger remains suspended for six games without pay.
The Steelers are scheduled to have three OTA’s next week, starting on Tuesday.
