Insider Only Russell Martin’s 11 game hitting streak, longest of career since May 2010

  • Russell Martin extended his hitting to 11 games in Saturday’s 1-0 loss to the Brewers. Martin hit his 20th double of the season off Matt Garza and went 1-3 with a double and walk. Martin’s 11 game hitting streak is the longest of his career since May 2010 when had a 15 game hitting streak. Martin has hitting streaks this season of 10 games (August 1 – 10) and now a current one of 11 games.
