Insider Only Ryan Shazier (knee) ruled out for Sunday’s game

  • Rookie MLB Ryan Shazier has been officially ruled out for Sunday’s game vs Tampa Bay due to a MCL Sprain. Shazier’s injury is less significant than Jarvis Jones and Ike Taylor who will be out for several weeks. The Steelers anticipate Shazier only missing a couple weeks. Sean Spence is expected to start in place of Shazier.
