Emmanuel Sanders drawing interest from up to six teams is making his first free agent visit today. Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports that Sanders and defensive end Ziggy Hood are visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars today.
The Steelers do not have expectations of resigning Sanders who many believe will be off the market in the next 48-72 hours. Sanders has visits lined up with the Bucs and Jets this week, and there are other teams trying to line up visits.
Hood, the Steelers first round pick in 2009, is also considered unlikely to return as the coaching staff is said to be ready to turn the page on him.
Despite not having the first round pedigree that Hood has, defensive lineman Al Woods has been much more coveted on the open market, receiving a multi-year deal from the Tennessee Titans, and also has visits lined up with the Green Bay Packers, and Arizona Cardinals.
