Shero, Bylsma speak to the media
Dan Bylsma and Ray Shero spoke to the media following the Penguins off-ice activities this morning.
Shero talked about how following the coaching change, he wanted to bring in a coach that would grow with this team and believes Dan is a good fit for the team.
Shero praised Bylsma calling him a “bright guy” and claiming he has great values.
Shero discussed that he looks for his hockey team to have

three main values — work ethic, accountability and passion. He believes Bylsma has brought those three important values to his hockey team and the two are a good fit for each other.
For the first time since becoming the Penguins general manager in 2006, Shero now has his own coach.
Shero was behind Michel Therrien as he awarded him a three year extension following the the Penguins Stanley Cup run in 2008.
While Shero was behind Therrien, the two did not see eye to eye when it came to the kind of system they wanted to run.
Now Shero has the coach in place that runs the system he wants to be ran throughout the organization, all the way down to the Penguins AHL affiliate.
