Source: Jagr wants to make Pittsburgh work but...
Look for the Jaromir Jagr saga to go well into the afternoon and possibly into Friday.
Here's where things stand as of 10:00 a.m. this morning:
Jagr's agent Petr Svoboda is scheduled to speak with the Penguins, Red Wings, Canadiens this morning and possibly a fourth darkhorse team that has been lurking.
The plan according to Svoboda to speak with those teams, than discuss more at length with Jaromir later in the day and see where things go.
Svoboda said a "decision" could come today but didn't guarantee that one will.
Svoboda, as we reported last night, said Jagr wasn't expected to get "settled" into New York until around 10:30 p.m.
Sources close to the situation indicate the Penguins are offering the least amount of money and that the Montreal Canadiens have become serious "players" in the past 48 hours.
