Jordan Staal's nightmare season continued this morning after suffering a broken right hand in today's practice.
The Penguins confirmed that Staal was hit in the hand with a puck and the team announced this evening just after 5:45 p.m., that Staal will undergo surgery tomorrow to repair a fractured right hand.
Staal is expected to be sidelined for at least 6 weeks.
Dr. Glenn Buterbaugh will perform the surgery.
