The Pittsburgh Steelers 23-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens was a critical one but it was also a costly one to the secondary.
Ike Taylor was injured in the first half with what appeared to be a leg injury and Profootballtalk reports Taylor has a fibula injury.
Steelers officials fear Taylor the injury is potentially significant enough that it could end his season or at least keep him sidelined into January.

The early prognosis is that Taylor is likely to be sidelined for at least three to six weeks and he has an MRI scheduled for the morning. Cortez Allen will replace Taylor as the starter opposite Keenan Lewis. Allen who is most effective inside defending the slot, was burned in the second quarter for a 28 yard touchdown and a pass interference call on a deep ball. The Steelers though shouldn’t see a significant drop off.
