STEELERS FREE AGENCY BUZZ
Chargers running back Mike Tolbert has agreed to a four year deal with the Carolina Panthers. Tolbert who visited the Panthers this weekend, had drawn interest from San Diego, San Francisco and Pittsburgh. The Steelers were interested in Tolbert and had discussions with agent Joel Turner, but the two sides were not a match from a financial standpoint, an NFL source said. The Steelers though were reportedly considered a finalist for Tolbert going into the weekend but the team never made an offer.
