Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Santonio Holmes will be charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession after a traffic stop in which police smelled a marijuana odor and found marijuana filled cigars in his car. According to the Associated Press, Holmes acknowledged having marijuana when stopped and pointed out the blunts to officers. Holmes was stopped about 4 p.m. near the intersection of Centre Avenue and Mario Lemieux. Officers were searching for a black SUV with out of state plates believed to be carrying a large amount of narcotics, which fits the description of Holmes vechicle but Holmes was not the vehicle they were seeking.
