Insider Only Steelers interested in Cowboys LB Victor Butler to compete for starting ROLB spot

The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting three notable players for visits this evening, RB Beanie Wells, TE Kellen Davis and OLB Victor Butler.
Of the three, Butler has some serious intrigue.

Stuck behind DaMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer in Dallas, scouts feel Butler is one of the best sleepers on the open market and is regarded as being a productive pass rusher in the right system.
In four seasons, Butler, 25, has 11 sacks and 5 forced fumbles in limited playing time. He had 3 sacks and 1 forced fumble in 300 snaps in 2012.
Here’s what profootballfocus says about him, calling him one of the best bargains for the right team:

“While he won’t receive the same pay day of his current Dallas teammate Anthony Spencer, outside linebacker Victor Butler has the potential to be one of the bargains of the offseason for the right team. Playing just 300 snaps for the Cowboys this past year, Butler had a Pass Rushing Productivity rating of 9.4, with three sacks, three hits and nine hurries from 127 pass rushing snaps.”
“He’s far from a sure thing, with this being the most snaps he’s seen in a season in his four-year career, but Butler has earned his shot at a starting gig. Grading positively both as a pass rusher and against the run in each of the past three seasons, Butler has shown that he’s good enough on a limited number of snaps, and now comes his chance to do it as a starter.” — Profootballfocus 00
The Steelers have targeted Butler to compete for the starting ROLB spot and are focused on bringing a serious contender to compete with Jason Worilds.
