ESPN’s Steelers Trick Play Report: You would think he would know better being an established field reporter for ESPN, but ESPN’s Bob Holtzman is reporting a trick play the Steelers are prepared to employ against the Ravens.
“Two Steelers have told me, if they catch the Ravens in the right defense, they have a trick play ready to go today that they’ve never run before, ” Holtzman said in his report.
The worse part is that Holtzman then went into details of what the play involves.
Holtzman says the play involves a pass thrown by someone (not Randle EL) who usually doesn’t throw the ball, and Holtzman indicates that receiver Randle El will be involved in some way other than throwing the ball down field.
Holtzman says the Steelers will be looking to surprise the Ravens.
It is common knowledge that reporters are to keep their info to themselves when it comes to particular plays the team may be looking to run.
